The original three monochrome modules were later combined into the color-cover G1-2-3, and all the material was eventually updated and incorporated into supermodule GDQ1-7 Queen of the Spiders.

Module G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief was the first D&D module produced by TSR (the first D&D scenario was "Temple of the Frog", included in the Blackmoor D&D supplement; the first D&D module was Palace of the Vampire Queen, produced by Wee Warriors).

G1-2-3 Against the Giants comes with a double cover (module booklet nested inside two covers of maps). Thanks to Eric Pass for this info.

Fifth (1999): Has the TSR Silver logo in the bottom left corner. Unlike any of the other Silver Anniversary reprints, this print featured two changes from the original: the color of the hill giant's stole on the inside cover was changed from white to black, and the artwork on page 2 was swapped out (click here for the changes). Otherwise, identical in all other respects to the Third print. This print was available only within the limited-edition Silver Anniversary Collector's Edition released by TSR in 1999.
