Fourth (1989):  New cover artwork, and now just a single cardstock DMs screen.  Angled TSR logo.  TSR stock #9263.  Includes the mini-module Terrible Trouble at Tragidore (which also has the Angled TSR logo), by Bruce and Jean Rabe, 16 pgs, for levels 5-8.  Designated as the Tenth printing on our DM Screen page.

Fifth (1992?):  Identical to the Fourth printing, but now features the Gold Angled TSR logo (as does the included mini-module).  Designated as the Eleventh printing on our DM Screen page.

Sixth-Seventh:  Unknown.  As the Eighth and Ninth printings of REF1 are the only prints we've seen which actually state which print it is, these printings are hypotheticals only.

Eighth (Feb 1994):  Identical to the Fourth print, but now features the TSR Dragon logo (as does the included mini-module).  Has "Eighth Printing, Feb 1994" on back cover.  Designated as the Eleventh printing on our DM Screen page. Thanks to Linda Curtin for this info.

First (1986):  Basically an excuse to give the Character Record Sheets new cover art, in line with the redesign of the AD&D manuals (orange spine).  Orange band across the top.  Includes "spell planner" sheets.  Labeled as the 1986 AD&D character sheets on our Character Record Sheet page.

Second (1989):  Upgraded the sheets to 2nd Edition AD&D conventions, and changed the cover art.  Black cover, AD&D 2nd Edition logo on top, Angled TSR logo on bottom.  Sheets are green-on-white (though a variation has been reported, with the green ink inside the information boxes, making them hard to read).
