I have some pieces David did on commission for me while he was waiting (in vain) for WOTC to hire him in the summer of 1997.

They were all for a fanzine that ran from 1995 to 1997, the early years when the Internet was not quite so ubiquitous.

A copy of each of these issues was auctioned off some years back...

Auction Agent - David C. Sutherland III - The Sorcerer Fanzine Vol. 3, Issues 6-10

Do these original pieces have any collector value?  They have been sitting in my bookcase for about sixteen years and I want to get my son off to college (he needs a computer).

Short answer.... Yes...

What are they worth?  That I cannot tell you... we do have a few art collectors here that might give you a better idea though...

Everyone wants a Sutherland piece in thier collection.  The more involved pieces I would guess at $150 - 200.
