Here are some minis made by David...  two versions of the Ogre Magi, as well as what appears to be a pewter version of one of them.

I also have other pewter miniatures, marked 'TSR 1984' on the bottom, which appear to be pieces David Sutherland sculpted and kept for himself.  Not sure if they made it into production or not.  Does anyone recognize these?

The ogre magi are cool, without a doubt. I would speculate one could fetch $100 or more.

I don't recognize any of the other minis except the last one. After a quick glance at the TSR page on the Lost Minis Wiki (Category:TSR - Lost Minis Wiki) I didn't see any matches, but perhaps I missed something.

One possibility is they were meant for TSR blisters or boxed sets that were not released (such as boxed sets 5309 and 5310)?

The last mini sure looks like a Draconian from Dragonlance: See this RP set Image:Rp-10-501-cat.jpg - Lost Minis Wiki for reference. Maybe it was an unreleased mini from the TSR Dragonlance set seen here: Image:TSR-adndbox-5405-bob.jpg - Lost Minis Wiki

I think you are right, that is a Draconian.  However, the pose is quite different from the ones in the linked image.  I think this was unreleased.  It might even have been David Sutherland who sculpted it.  Wish I had gotten more from him, but one of these chunks seemed like enough.

Who knew in 1997 what would happen?

Another question - should I attempt to sell these on Ebay, or RPG Marketplace, or just offer them here?

I have some experience with Ebay, but none with the Marketplace and of course, I am not sure it is good form to attempt a sale here.

Steve,

1) eBay is likely your best chance for hitting a wide pool of prospective buyers. The downside is having to give eBay their slice of your profits.

2) I have no experience with RPG Marketplace, so I'll let someone else respond to that.

3) It's not bad form to offer them here - just start a thread in the Classifieds section. And you get to keep all the profits!

I'm interested in the minis, so I'm in wherever you end up selling them!

TollHouseGolem gave you excellent advice.  If you have an amount that you want to sell them for, then feel free to offer them here first so you can keep all the money.  Set a time limit, a week or so, and if they don't sell, nothing lost.  When/if you put them up on eBay or wherever, post a link here and hope they sell well.   8)

My guess is yes, but I've seen and sold minis that I thought were less desirable than that go for more.  If it doesn't sell, you've lost nothing.  You can always re-list it for less next time.  The only thing I would have done differently is offer it on these forums for $100.00 first, and then put it up on eBay.  Then again, you might be in a hurry and an eBay sale should speed things up.   8)

I think all of the ones pictured bear the hallmark TSR or TSR 1984, with the sole exception being the Willie Scott mini (above the aztec skeleton) that also says LFL.

Steve (Centurion13) would have to take a look at them for confirmation, but I'm pretty sure none of them are TA-HR minis.
