Heya, folks.
I acquired a copy of Deities and Demigods with the Cthulhu mythos that I'd like to put up at Gen Con. Here's my concern: it looks very much to me like it was a library copy at one point. There's the remains of a label on the lower corner of the spine, and what looks like a spot for a library card pocket in the back.
Now, I have no way of knowing when, which library, or whether this was legitimately purchased in a library book sale. That being the case, do you think I should refrain from selling?

If there are really no identifiers, then there is no way for you to return it to a potential rightful owner. Sell it.
Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Odd that there are no stamps on the endpapers with the library name. In general, ex-library copies are clearly marked as being an ex-library copy.
The Gray Book: My homage to E.G.G.
Star Trek: Alpha Quadrant: The game Mongoose failed to make.
