Newer magazines are all in good shape...older ones (say issues <100) are in average shape given their age and use (my brother and I read and used them quite a bit when we were younger).  Some game issues have the rule sections taken out of the magazines, but all original pages are still there to my knowledge.

Interested in getting an idea of a "price to move" as they are just collecting dust now and would rather see them with someone who will enjoy them.  But also don't want to just dump them for nothing if I could get some actual $$$ for the collection as a whole.  Thanks.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear.  I have 194 magazines.  It's issue 47 and /all/ the issues  from issue 52 to issue 241, then including the 2 Annuals and the 2 "Best of" issues.  So if you think shipping for 35 magazines would be an issue, think about shipping almost 200 of them .

Good news is that they'll ship media rate...but I agree that its still alot (but buyer pays shipping, at least in my book, so I don't see this as a problem...just as a deterrant to how much people would be willing to pay for the collection).

They're neither rare nor unique unfortunately...

The real pain in the ass is when you sell them on a place like ebay, the shipping cost is going to eat into your proffits.

Sounds like it might be better to break them up into smaller, more "shipping friendly" lots...with the post 100 magazines not expected to get much.  Good idea on Craigslist, though...that makes alot of sense.

Makes sense....though part of my desire to part with them is to see them go someplace where they'll be used, versus trying to make the most $$$.  So I'd hate to sell 150 of them, only to have a couple dozen "left over" .

Am thinking I might try selling them in 2 chunks: Annuals, Best of, and issues 79 and under; then issues 80+ as the second group.
