Given the opportunity, and the cost was something you could handle but you could only pick one, which would you take?

Consider both being in fair to good shape, but not VG or NM-

I voted for Tegel. Both are fantastic. But I have a sentimental thing for Tegel. Also, because I've actually gone thru Tegel as a player.

Tegel. It was the first adventure I went through with my brother's friends. Those guys are still my best friends and gaming cronies, 30 some odd years later.

It is a hard thing to choose because these are really apples and oranges kind of adventures. I had great fun with Tegal but Dark Tower was more memorable. The DM we had really created a great atmosphere and we had a fantastic time playing this adventure. So, my vote is Dark Tower.

I'd go for Tegel too. Both are really good adventures, but Tegel has more character, a little humour and is not just a dungeon crawl.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Sadly, Tegel Manor slipped off auction while I wasn't looking and is gone!
What's worse, when I went to check on it, NOBODY had put a bid on it at all! Perhaps $50 was too steep?

Oh, well, Perhaps next time.

I'd find a way to get both and then make two versions:

Dark Manor and Tegel Tower.

But, if I could only get one.... I'd probably get Dark Tower because its more in the line of the modules I would play.

btw, were you asking the question as an investment decision or as something you want to use in a campaign?

I guess, when you're talking about Dark Tower versus Tegel Manor at $25 as a collecting value, take the Tegel Manor every time.

I'm not a "big" collector, but I'm trying to get back some of the gems that slipped away from me years ago.

i like both adventures very much. have been fortunate to both DM and play both of them over the years.

I would always pick Tegel for many reasons....mostly because of the three amazing games i have been able to DM over in the states with the guys. each game was great for its own reasons....but the shrew incident will just go down in legend and beat anything hands down for me. plus running my first game in the states for martin, mike and john...it was great fun.

dark tower though is an awesome adventure, but as jason pointed out earlier, they are both very different and its hard to really say one is greater than the other.

good poll...some good mixed opinion, which is cool!
