Wanted to start a discussion on the miniatures they printed for the Games Workshop Talisman board game (2nd ed).

Basically any tips on avoiding recast fakes?

Any other forums out there with people who know about them?

Anyone have a bunch they are looking to sell? :)

I have about half the collection, want to complete it, then will have the whole Talisman 2nd ed legacy.

I have one set with the Dragons expansion. I did not know it was that rare for the longest time.

That's what happened to me. I was playing at a friend's place and we set his Talisman set up to play. I looked at his boxes and noticed that Dragons was not there. We went looking for it that weekend, but never found it. Who knew?

Yup, even Dragons. Too bad they did not release official miniatures for this set, but you can do a pretty good job improvising with other GW miniatures.
