It is a correct price. It was not common on ebay until hamilcar sold several copies.
Actually, it is only a dungeon, nothing more. It was written as a tournament module and so there is a scoring system with a table displaying suggested points awarded by players during the game.

Yeah, I wrote that for 1st Ed. as a tournament module... and its fun but rather atrociously written. I am a bit better at writing adventures these days. I actually have three copies left of the original.... in the event someone wants one?  I will part with two - but not the last one. PS: I was privileged to work with Gary for 7 years in  a partnership we called Hekaforge Productions... and for a year before that as a "guy paying Gary to help me write stuff"... he was unique, gifted, wise AND intelligent, and a close personal friend. I miss him... a lot.

I am still looking... and have yet to find the darned things. I remember there were three because they were all still "shrink-wrapped" (although I use that term loosely - back in those days we used to seal them in Saranwrap for storage) and that struck me as funny that Saranwrap would last the test of time better than standard store shrinkwrap. Any of the 'actually shrink-wrapped' products I have from that era ... the shrink is brittel and cracks easily. These were still supple. :D If anybody runs across one (as I do not remember us having any of these) there is also a Pitfall II, although I can't remember the sub-title we appended to it. Both were created with the help of an old college friend (well, we were in college at that time) who has since passed, and they were type written... so no electronic/digital files were ever created for either product. The only other 'survivor' I know that I still have some stock on from that era is a board game that came packaged in a 9X12" ziplock called "Just Another Monster"... Life was simpler in those days.

I will continue the search, and will let you all know if I should find anything.

PS: I am writing one last adventure, without Gary's help, unfortunately, that fits snugly between The Ritual of the Golden Eyes and Castle Wolfmoon (which is actually being broken up into three separate modules) entitled, "Cataract". I should finish it this week...

I have some 'better' news....

Interestingly enough - I found a fifth... which is an earlier printing and came without pregenerated characters (they aren't missing as the pagination of the interior is different.  I have my marketing guys taking pics so that yopu can actually see imperfections, etc.

I am now also hunting through my piles here for copies of Pitfall II which is rarer.....  and I did find something that tells me its not just a figment of my imagination

My wife informs me that it was entitled, "Pitfall II, The Wizard's Keep".
