Does a photo of Ed Simbalist exist in the world?

I've never seen the man. I've never stumbled upon a photo of the creator of "Chivalry & Sorcery"...

It is ironic that he, according to the testimony of that thread, was a "shameless self-promoter," but you can't find a picture of the guy.   :?

I recognize this photo - I once xeroxed it onto a handout for my players. It's from Dragon #20 p.16, showing Elise Gygax presenting out awards. Everyone in the photos is smiling, until we get to Tim Kask. Great stuff.

I was trying to track down Ed and Wilf a couple years ago.  Ed had passed away a few years previous and Wilf wasn't doing so well.  It is sad news to read that he passed away last year as well.

Anyone who intends to succeed in publishing ought to be a shameless self-promoter.

The difference between "shameless" self-promotion and plain, ordinary self-promotion is really just who we like and who we don't like.
