Probably around $250-300 in VG or better condition, but some have sold for less.

Yes, it's still fairly difficult to pick up, especially in collectible condition or SW.

You probably already know, but there are three for sale, at fixed prices, on eBay at the moment.

Looks like it might be. I know you can get a perfect-bound (not staple bound) copy through print on demand. And the inside cover picture looks a bit like that to me. I know that old Chaosium games people hang around here so might be able to help?

Yes, these are likely to be reprints.
When the new Chaosium teams came, they used their own savings to save Chaosium and be able to fulfill the CoC 7th kickstarter.
But they needed more cash flow to pursuit the Chaosium operations they made a KS to reprint the early rulebooks:

Two bidders have been going back and forth from $70 up to the current $272. I would never buy something from someone with a 98% feedback unless the item was near unique and irreplaceable. Bozo sellers like that pack poorly and describe their items even more poorly.

Shrink is not a condition

I didn't know that encasing it in plastic would increase its value 10 times over. Disco's got another copy not encased in plastic in the same condition for 10% of the price, and even then it's still far more than others in what look like the same condition in shrink.

First issue has T&T article so good enough for me. Will see about issue # 2. According to Tome of Treasures there were only those 2 issues.
