Well as many collectors I suppose, I buy each wanted item once, sometimes when the module has several printings then I'm searching for each print or when the one I own is not in excellent condition or incomplete I try to get one in better shape.
But for SW modules that have only one known print or no means to know the print without removing the shrink ? My question comes from the fact that I've noticed a buyer on Ebay that purchase many (most) of the DL modules in SW appearing on Ebay (DL1-DL14). Each time a DL SW module is available, classic auction or BIN, he tries to buy it. Ok it seems quite usual at first glance, but when it's the third or fourth time the same module is bought in the same condition by the same buyer, it's quite unusual. My novice question is : what is the aim of such multiple purchases of the same item in the same serie ? Do you sometimes or often buy the same items twice or more ? I buy SW modules, but one of each is sufficient.

It is possible that this is either a re-seller who is looking to make some quick money, or they are trying to corner the market so that it becomes even more rare, thus forcing his prices up further when he sells them in a few years time.

It would be interesting to know who the buyer is?

A quick flick through their feedback shows a huge amount of items purchased in a very short time.

My initial reaction is someone who has gained a sizeable bit of cash recently is buying up as much as they can, as quickly as they can, which may suggest they are going to re-sell soon, as there doesn't appear to be any real rares in there so far.

Just my thoughts though, others with more experience in reading these patterns could probably suggest more.

EDIT - They are also purchasing worldwide too interestingly.

It could be someone who has no idea what they are doing, or no idea what they've already bought.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

Sounds like me, until I sat down and started a list of my items I found out that I had bought some items 5 times  8O  lots of twos and threes.
