I'm not sure if anyone has come across this yet, but ebay is using what should be a convenience for sellers as a way to block direct access between sellers and buyers.

If a sellers fills out all the question fields before listing their auction then a buyer has no way of directly contacting the seller from that particular auction. The only way to contact a seller then is to send a blind message to the seller users ID.

There's a chance you're doing the same thing I ran into recently - not realizing that you can scroll down.  They've hidden the contact seller button way down below everything else.

Or maybe you've found a new annoyance.

I think you're right. I didn't even see the thing. It is outside the box where the questions are, but if you don't fill in all the fields for questions then there is also a contact seller highlighted in blue inside the box.
