Do we have any good data on the print runs for the first Basic and Expert boxed sets?  There's some discussion over on Knights & Knaves about comparing the popularity of Basic/Expert to AD&D @ http://www.knights-n-knaves.com/phpbb/v ... 6732#76732

So, do we have any good numbers?

Would Kask or Frank know?

If we could figure out what the standard print run quantity was say for the first printing(s) of these we could then estimate based on the different printings.

Also, I wouldn't mind merging this info with my Research thread here to keep it all in one place:
