I ordered a twelve pack-I'm starting a new campaign (3.5 Expedition to Undermountain) where a "patron" of the player characters (actually a doppleganger) serves drinks at a dinner, before explaining the campaign. Then I'm gonna whip out these drinks.
Shipping to Canada, though-It would have been cheaper to take everybody to a bar... 8O

I just got my Jones Soda yesterday-It's awesome-especially the copy on the back of the bottles.
Plus it came with a limited ed. miniature-which I'll be trading...

The reaction to the soda was so great, they are back ordered quite a bit. I have to wait another week or so before mine gets shipped and I ordered a week or two ago.

Ack!  What does it look like?  How many different minis are available?  Does it have any stat card, does it come in a plastic bag, etc., etc. ?

It's the Drow Assassin repaint from Gen Con 2009 model D&DC76
It comes w/ card and is sealed in a little bag-still sealed.
I was going to see about trading it to a local miniature nut for some Umber Hulks and a Rust Monster. (For a Undermountain campaign) I saw one on Ebay for 16.99, I think. When you go on the Jones website-the promo is no longer there.

However... :?:

I've heard the Black Cherry cola is pretty good...

What drinks are you drinking?  Have you ever tried Dr. Pepper with cane sugar, Mr. Pibb, Orange Fanta, Big Red, Mountain Dew etc? But I do agree with you. The problem in the US is the use of high fructose corn syrup in soft drinks for many years, while most overseas drinks are made with pure cane sugar. Dr. Pepper in Texas is sold with the pure cane sugar, and Jones cola has switched, so it should be ok.

Italians and Americans tend to have very different conceptions of "good". For example, I hate Dr. Pepper; and, as far as I am aware, they tried to market it in Italy but it disappeared immediately, being a huge flop. I've drunk root beer which is another thing I find horrible (although it is very useful against the ghost pirate LeChuck). When I was living in the US I happened to drink things I've (luckily) never seen anywhere else, such as raspberry-flavored water or vanilla Coke. On the other hand, I also don't like other drinks which are very popular in Italy, such as Chinotto or Red Bull.

Yeah, anyone who says they don't like Dr. Pepper and root beer is clearly someone who has no taste. Must be all that tomato-washed cappuccino. ;)

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

I really do apologize, but with all the exceptional Belgian and Irish beer brands that exist, I have no need to search for oddly-flavored carbonated surrogates!
