Hi Everyone,

Well lets start with the Acaeum Dinner.  A good time was had by all.  Doug won both of Tims auctions.  I counted 25 people in attendence.  The resterurant messed up many people's orders - maybe we go somewhere else next year.  Frank made the annoucement that his new company will begin publishing sometime before Gencon 2010.  So something to look forward to.  We had some new attendees show up this year:  Tacojohn and bbarsh.  I'm sure there were more "newbies" but my brain is in overload right now.  Good to finally meet them.

Exhibit Hall:  Crowds do seem to be smaller this year.  However, Paizo seemed to be the booth everyone went to first.  The crowd around this booth choked up the flow thru the exhibit hall.  I was on a mission to get Plaag a Paizo button but could not get anywhere close to the booth.  So I thru a 5 spot to one of the event staff and within 2 minutes the mission was accomplished.

Goodman Games:  Since they were not having the firesell they had last year there really wasn't any crowd around them at all.  The had a limit on the DCC 36 1e module.  However, I was able to get 10 to them and Bracton said he would have some extras so I believe will be able to provide a copy for everyone who asked for one in the other thread.

Tim Kask's Game:  "High in the Hellgate Mountains"  In attendance was Devon Hibbs (Burntwire Boys), Jeff (Blackmoor) his lovely wife Angela and his son Rohan, Mark (Bracton), Bill (Stratochamp), Andy (Invincible Overlord), Gus Landt (Gus Landt) and two of his friend who's names escape me (Vince), Malcom (Malc) and Mark (Yaya?)  I apologize if I got anyones name wrong.  No one was killed during the game.  However, Invincible Overlord sat in a "decon's" chair and was granted a +1 to his strength ability but he soon found out he was unable to move at all.  Meaning he was held tight in this chair.  He could talk but nothing else.  Various means were tried to get him out including my character beaning him in the head rendering him unconscious.  I truely thought that might help.  Tim took pity and allowed us to pour a potion down his throat (forgot what kind of potion) and he made his escape.  Much good fun was had by all.

More saturday morning as the collectible auction will go late into the night tomorrow.

Ye ha!   :D

Were you also able to get a copy of Black Blade's Publishing release of DCC # 7 Secret of Smuggler's Cove?

The items auctions off are:

The Tower of the Mad Wizard  (Garycon)
Temple of the Weaver Queen (NTRPG con)

I believe Frank said that one of these will be one of the first items published by his new company.

benjoshua - Yes, I secured the Smuggler's cove (It has the NTRPG logo)

The potion used was not gaseous form.  But some potion that negates anything.

It was not a potion I had ever heard of before.  However we were playing OCE and I'm almost exclusively AD&D.
