Most of these "experts" were not even born when TSR first published D&D, let alone AD&D. They are usually 20 somethings that think they are D&D experts. I was a game distributor for SPI and others in the late 1970's/early 1980's and I can tell you at that time TSR couldn't find their butt with both hands. I was selling SPI products to Schools, Prisons, BSA Camps etc... Also many items that the "experts" here say are one of a kind, or counterfeits, or frauds, or fakes, came in many different versions used in house at TSR.....Namely proposed modules, character sheets, prototypes, rough drafts, printers copies, etc...Do any of the "experts" here know how many slightly different printed versions of games at SPI that were held in the warehouse after their bankruptcy and by their printer when TSR took over? Lots. Some items were misprinted, some discarded. I just can't get over these so called "experts" here at Acaeum. And I really like this site. My name is Mitch, and I purchased the Character record sheets from torchcaller321 on Ebay. I bought them outside of Ebay when my bid was canceled by her. I later learned th eauction was cancelled because Aenoth was badgering her with fraud allegations. I contacted the seller, and offered to buy them outright. She was hesitant. I told her most gamers are not like Aenoth. When I went to her home to purchase the item, I got to see the abusive Emails Aenoth sent her. Not all came though Ebay as he stated here on Acaeum. Aenoth, are you aware the woman you verbally assaulted and taunted with your abusive emails is a flight attendant for Delta out of MPLS/StPaul and her husband is a captain in the US Army? Not likely to commit fraud against you on a D&D item!!!! When I picked up the item (I live in Hudson Wisconsin 45 miles from Minnetonka, MN where the item was located) I got to meet her, and examine her late fathers collection. She lives in a very exclusive area, and all the D& D items belonged to her late father. I highly doubt that she was ripping you off, or to use your own words "committing fraud". Her father left a detailed note with a nice description of each game or item. Lot's of goody's too!!! I might also add that her father was Ranger Hilgers (Ranger was his real first name as his father was a US Army ranger in WWII) and was well known in his western Twin Cities wargaming club in the early 1960's, and 1970's. Even running a game club at Hamline University in the early 1960's. By the way, he was probably playing D&D when AENOTH was still a sperm cell. Needless to say, I purchased the character record sheets you claimed were a fraud (there WERE 45 on this UNUSED MINT pad) and you were wrong about that too. You were also wrong that it was from 1979. She also gave me the first edition Eldritch Wizardry in mint condition, and a stack of IFW newsletters as a bonus. Which was very kind. She knows nothing about playing D&D. She was going to give the stuff to goodwill. She was going by notes her late father left with these items when he died (in 1998) I gave her an honest appraisal of her collection (which does include a mint boxed D&D basic set . I told her it needs to be insured!!!). It was a real collectors item. Shame on you Aenoth. Were trying to beat her up so she would sell the items to you directly? Your emails to her really got me steamed. You are certainly no "expert" and you are ruining it for other collectors. She also showed me some emails from another ebayer named Greyhawk who was kind enough to let her know that AENOTH was "making trouble for her at the Acaeum". You should really be ashamed of yourself. Why don't you do us all a favor and take a 6 month hike from here?

GNAT- WHY DON'T YOU CONTACT HER THROUGH EBAY AND ASK HER TO FORWARD YOUR OWN EMAILS BACK TO YOU? OR DID YOU DELETE THEM SO YOUR WIFE DOESN'T SEE THEM? You know you sent them, and you know they were nasty.

Aenoth/Gnat you don't need to defend honest action... nobody from your community is conducting this lambasting... I say ignore this guy.
