Sent box is an archive of sent items.
Out box in a list of mail you've sent that has not yet been openned by the recipient.
It is a little erroneous, because if the recipient receives an e-mail saying he has a
PM, and reads the text there, and doesn't go to his inbox and open it, he will have read the message, but it will show that he didn't open it.
