Hiya,
not sure if anyone outside the UK gets the TV programme "Bargain Hunt"?
The principle is that the contestants get an hour to go round an Antiques Fair, and buy some items. They are then supposed to sell them at auction, and try and make a profit. In practice, this rarely happens
Well, if theres any interest, how about a Gencon Indy Bargain Hunt Challenge?
Everyone who wants to play gets (up to) an hour in the Auction Shop to buy one item (can be $1 upwards), and then put it back in the auction proper to see if it fetches a profit.
Nothing for the winner - except the Kudos of knowing they have a better eye for a bargain than anyone else
If enough people are interested, we could firm out the rules (could be done for charity etc)
Cheers,
Malc
I have a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
