At an order of 50+ binders what is the unit price going to be?

And roughly how many magazines will it hold?

Excellent questions all, but I want to know what campaign logos you're throwing on the binders?---my cats have nibbled away at my home-labelled Greyhawk binders on my shelves, so having something perhaps a bit more permanent/durable would be nice!

Could it hold different sized magazines, or only things like The Dragon?

Slipcover cases.

Have the added bonus of keeping dust and light off our mags.

These can be custom designed, also.

This company could probably customized something for us...With the Acaeum logo.

I would be up for something, however as most binders grip the magazine by the spine, they do risk damaging the mags over time - especially if the binders are stored vertically (i.e. on a shelf, as you would likely want), so gravity pulls down on the whole mag stressing the spine.

I like the idea of some kind kind of attractive narrow storage box with a cover, like slip covers as mentioned above.  Designed right, they could hold A4 magazines, plus the funny US sized magazines (and even modules)  

I currently store my Dragon Magazine collection (well up to issue #200 anyway...) in my RPGA Slipcover Cases.

If anyone has any more of these, I would like them (and would pay for them).


IMHO, this is the way to go (as opposed to binders).

OK, I'm close to placing on order for custom made binders.  I'm afraid that this will only work if one person takes on the decision-making, so here goes.

They will be in black leather-look covers, with the name 'Dragon' in embossed gold lettering on the spine, using this font:


(NB. Not the text to the right, just the word 'Dragon'.)

The binders will be 'wirex' style, with a removable thin wire which holds the mags in place, not as destructive as the 'cordex' style used by the old WD and Imagine binders.  The binders will each hold 12 mags, and there will be 2 sizes available, 45mm wide for issues 1-12, 13-24 and 25-36, and 80mm wide for issues 37-48 and onwards.

It looks like prices will be around GBP4.00 to 5.00 each, plus whatever it costs to ship them to you.  I'll probably need to order 50 x 45mm and 150 x 80mm, so I'll probably need some sort of committment before finalising the order.

Since they sit in a 2nd floor closet and aren't moved often, except when used for reference, I'd say that they are quite sturdy.

A slipcover case is (and I'm going to suck at describing it... forgive me..) like a standing box opened on its side that you insert the magazines into (about 12 to a case). The case that you slide it into is as long as the outside covering (not like a box top that is only about an inch deep).

I'll take a picture of them and get them posted to the website...

The RPGA stopped making them at least 10 years now, but I'm sure you could find a generic version of them...
