Is there any version of Dungeon that incorporates all of the variant rules published over the years in The Dragon?:

Ethan and I have been playing the 1981 version of Dungeon (big board, 4 player options: Elf, Hero, Superhero, Wizard; basic game 2 versions: Elf, Hero)---and we're playing the basic game right now.
He's expressed interest in playing the full version soon (but he's a little worried about level 5 and 6 monsters---we may try the other 2 characters with just level 1-4 monsters first). That got me thinking about the various variants, and whether any published version of Dungeon! ever included them in the game?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon! doesn't really have much useful info, other than the vague "Later editions also included rules for additional classes, each with unique advantages or rules and requiring different amounts of treasure to win the game." BoardGameGeek @
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1339 (1975 version) and
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2301 (1989 version) and
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1370 (1992 version) and all 3 have some minimal basic info, with the latter two versions indicating expanded classes available, and some additional rules for healing, etc.
Also: ISTR that Ral Partha issued Dungeon! minis c. 1991 or so, too: yes, $90 BIN @
** expired/removed eBay auction ** (and this also apparently includes some new spells and PCs, too!).
So, who has experience playing all of these versions and can chime in on which versions are the most fun, with a broad range of well-balanced play options?

Thanks!
