Can we have quotes around multiple words in the search field find those words "together".

Like "Monster cards" would actually find the phrase Monster Cards.

I'm not sure what this is called... But it would help a lot.

I just tried that and that is the same as checking the AND or OR Boolean checks.

In a Google search when you put two or more words in quotes it will find them together consecutively and in that order. When I put and "monster" and "cards" might be on the same page or post but they are not consecutive like "monster cards".

Nope, it's not possible to add the search-by-phrase function.  Or rather, it may be possible, but nobody's written such a mod.  It's not even a function available in phpBB3.

Your best bet is to do as the previous poster suggested; use Google.  Conveniently, we have a Google search engine built into the site; use the Search feature off the home page, and it will search the forums as well as the main site.

I use both radio button options for searching the forums regularly, and use the top button "Search for any terms or use query as entered" and use quotation marks regularly with that one.  When I'm not happy with such search results, I use the bottom button "Search for all terms" and enter terms without quotation marks.  

I also make regular use of the search by author option, too, which obviously helps to reduce the search results when I have a good idea of who wrote something.
