Blackmoor got me thinking. What kind of stuff do I have that you don't see every day.

Won this shirt at Gen Con 1984. My team won the FEZ Tourney by Nascrag. We got a T-shirt, illustration of our characters and a couple other things. All I can find is the shirt. Don't mind the toes!

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I've seen those toes before. They're not unique, though they are pretty rare. It seems you took yours out of the shrink, though. That reduces the value by at least 80%. Were you able to reduce the odor? I hope so -- all the ones I've encountered have a pretty nasty scent radiating...

Are they in any way, shape or form related to that pesky Head of Vecna?

Some would say there is a resemblence  8O

Funny thing about the shirt is that I never wore it. I tried. But I arrived late to the award ceremony and I got stuck with an Adult Medium - which is actually more like a youth small!
So it has languished for more than 25 years until my 8 year-old daughter found it in the back of the closet. My oldest daughter likes to steal my Army PT T-shirts (they are the most comfortable T-shirt ever made) so the little one decided she needed one of Daddy's shirts, too. It was the only one that fit her.
I cracks me up to see her in it. Drives my wife absolutely insane! I love it!

bbarsh,

Could not agree with you more on the comfort of the army PT shirt.  I think I bought 20 of them the week I left the service.

I am down to about three. I need a resupply asap. Time to prowl the net. Any idea if you can still get them through AAFES?

Toe of Vecna

The arch-lich Vecna imbued both his eye, hand (left) and toe (right) with wondrous and horrible powers enabling them to persist long after his other remains moldered away into dust. Tales say that the Toe appears to be a mummified extremity, a blackened and shriveled lump, possibly from a burned body. IF this lump portion is pressed against the stump of a right foot missing a toe, it will instantly graft itself to the foot and become a functioning member adding 1 to the hosts constitution score.

The Toe will eventually turn the host's alignment to neutral evil.  The host may use any minor power without fear, but as soon as a major power of the Toe is used, he or she awakes a spirit of great evil. When a primary power is used the host will instantly become neutral evil and horns will sprout from his or her head!  The Toe can be severed from the host at any time before its powers are used with 100% certainty, but each major power uses subtracts 1% from the probability, and each use of a primary power makes success 10% less likely. Whenever 100% subtraction has occurred there is no possibility of removing the Toe , and the character will know it.

To use any power, the toe on the foot must be shoeless so it can gesture freely.

Constant Effects
The Toe of Vecna has the following constant effects.

Unhallowed Kick: Kicking a creature leaves a permanent scar on their back/backside, "Kick Me!"

Minor Effects
The Toe of Vecna has the following minor effects.

Interpret Undead Languages: Can speak with the dead at anytime.

Desecrate: Stepping on a grave will cause it to be immediately blackened as with mold and mildew.

Major Effects
The Toe of Vecna has the following major effects.

Grave Presence: The ability to kick out a large trench (grave) with just a few kicks.

Rotting Smell: Everyone within ten feet must save vs. Stinking Cloud or be forced to grab their nose uncontrollably.

Unhallow: Immune to all slow spells and web spells.

Slay Living:  A successful kick while rolling a natural 18 or higher results in death as in the death spell.

Rot: A successful kick while rolling a natural 16 or higher results in the opponent contracting a rotting disease with no saving throw.

Prime Powers
The Toe of Vecna has the following prime powers.

Blasphemy: Placing the foot on a recently slain opponent will result in the immediate resurrection as servant wight.

Mark of Death: Any creature touched by the Toe will emanate a putrid odor as from a rotting shoe.

Combined Powers
When both the Hand, Toe and Eye of Vecna are possessed and worn the host gains additional benefits and curses as follows:

Ability Score Increase: +1 in Dexterity

Mental Fortitude: Not affected by morale decreasing effects.

Ritual Summoning: Able to touch the ground and raise up 10 skeletons and 10 zombies who will serve the wearer for 6 turns.

and other EVIL POWERS.

I can try ebay, of course. But I can still get on AAFES online, so I think I can order direct.
