Happy New Year to one and all.

Have a collecting (or gaming-related) resolution for the New Year?

I am going to post an adventure on Dragonsfoot. I am also going to submit a supplement to Hero Games that was actually accepted by ICE but never was published when they gave up on the Hero System.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Good to see you around again, Bill.  I have a few publishing projects  (non-PPP books) I'm planning to release in 2009 as well :D

Happy new year to everybody. My gaming resolution number one is... continuing to have a game store despite the crisis   ; the second one is keeping publishing DM Magazine (issue 21 is coming up nicely); the third one is still looking for those pesky Game Merchandising issues  :x

My resolution:  I will challenge Blackmoor and Stratochamp during the Gencon auctions.  Notice I did not say I would outbid them.  Just challenge them.  I may have to concock some dubious strategies.  Something like:  Hey Blackmoor, look at the Hooters girls!!!  Nah, that wouldn't work.  Blackmoor's wife would just smack me upside the head with her cat-of-nine-tails.

My resolution is to get the rest of the 1980s Fantasy Unlimited items published (by me) - at least in a small press format.  I have the Tournament modules, Decision Adventures, Judges Guild Dungeon Contest module, etc.

Aside from that I would like to unearth a new small press item each month.

My resolutions:

Finally finish my current, 24-year-old campaign with a massive final battle, and start a new campaign where the players are, quote, "worrying about where they will find their next meal".

Focus my currently ad hoc collecting habits (not so much of the spontaneous, "why did I buy that" stuff), and pick up a couple of those rares I've been looking for.

Attend GenCon again (255 days to go, but who's counting), and (i) this time arrive on Wednesday for the Acaeum dinner, (ii) convince exTSR to run another adventure in Empyrea, and (iii) at the auction, pick up a few rares and any items of Tim Kask's clothing that might be up for sale, and outrageously overpay for at least one item from Badmike.    :P

Happy new year -- may it take you further and give you more than the previous.

I don't make resolutions.

Happy New Year everyone    8)

I would resolve to beat Lofenloc in an ebay auction this year, but that's not really going to happen... is it...

Peace

I hear Tim will have a rare pair of pantloons that was worn when he DM'd a pickup game at Gen Con V or thereabouts...the pizza stains are authentic!!!!

I can arrange any number of items you can overpay for.....outrageously will be welcomed!

I hope everyone has a happy and safe new years celebration as well as a successful and pleasant 2009.

I have three resolutions:

1.  Complete my collection of TSR RPGs.  I'm already reasonably complete and don't collect print runs so I just need about a dozen items.  I'm hoping this will be the year for this.

2.  Finish sorting and organizing my existing collection.  Most of my collection is reasonably sorted but items I've obtained over the last year are a mess.  I'd also like to index every item so I can easily locate exactly where it is.

3.  Sell my duplicates and unwanted items.  I have several items that are just taking up space and really should go to someone who would appreciate them.

No resolutions here....going to switch gears for awhile so collecting is taking a backseat for the forseeable future.  There might be an item or two that I will still be keeping an eye out for though.

Hope everyone has a great 2009!  :D
