Howdy all -

I have a manuscript for a game called Magus. It was written by Rob in 1985, and is a game where each player controls a wizard, and battles the other players with spells etc. The object is to capture the other players' towers and become the supreme ruler of the land.

There is a covering letter that Rob wrote addressed to Kim Mohan at Dragon magazine (dated May 1985). It's clear that Rob submitted the game to Kim expecting the game to be published in the magazine. However, I can't find any mention of the game in Dragon around that period.

Can anyone tell me if Magus was published by Dragon, or anywhere else?

Regards

Mike

Thanks Kevin - I had the idea to go search BoardGameGeek and it tells me the same thing.

I dug out my copy of 147 and it is indeed part of the issue.

Four years between submission and print - I wonder if that was an abnormal wait, or BAU for Dragon BITD?

Regards

Mike
