Convention organizers say 130,000 people  8O  attended but I'm quite skeptic... Last year Lucca Comics and Games had three holiday days on four overall, weather wa quite good and they claimed 100,000 attending. This year they had two holiday days on four overall, VERY bad weather in the first two days, a far worse economic climate and despite all these ills they scored 30,000 people more? I can give them the benefit of doubt, but I'm not convinced  :?

Saturday there were 58000 visitors at the convention. Just take into account that the whole city of Lucca has more or less 82000 inhabitants, and you get the idea how stuffed the streets were.
