Hi all! New to the board, glad to be here! I'm an old timer D&D addict, been playing since 1981. I'm off to London in a few weeks and I wonder if you guys know of any good stores that stock D&D/RPG stuff and/or minis, preferably vintage items? I know of Orcs Nest but are there any other places of interest?

Hi,

nowhere that stocks 2nd hand of note, nope.

Leisure Games is the best for new stuff.
Orcs nest and playin games are fairly central.

If youre here the last saturday in November is Dragonmeet tho. One of the largest rpg conventions in the UK.

Cheers,
malc

Hi lawrenson, thanks for your reply! I'll definitely check out Leisure Games, looks interesting. Also, thanks for the heads up on Dragonmeet, I only know of GenCon since before.

If anyone else has any other suggestions, please let me know. Cheers!

Hello,

Not strictly on point, but I was in London, Ontario yesterday and at Comic Books Now found an opened but o/w mint Rappan Anthuk Reloaded for $79.95 list price... with 35% off  :D    I'm Killer DM 662!

Absolutely delightful... and spent the savings on some other 3 Ed books on 'clear-out' at similar savings...  the best part though was chatting up the owner who let me know he's got customers as young as 10 buying rpgs...

My 'fun find', travel-logue, and hope-for-the-hobby in one post

As you said davidc, not strictly to the point, but then again I would be pretty damn happy with a find like that too. Congrats! :)

Rappan Athuk is one of Necromancers best. My most recent find was the JG Wilderlands box for $15 at a clear-out.
