I'd be curious to know why crazyegor and simrion are on your list.

As would I. Are you blocking them because they are resellers?

I don't recall. They've been on there for quite some time. Blocked usually results from some sort of an unwarranted "I never recieved my item" situation.
After making the post I went through on Ebay and looked at each. Many are no longer on Ebay and a few (including the two you mentioned) I found myself wondering what happened to get them on the list. I initially posted the list for the sole reason of hopeing others would post their lists so we can compare and identify bad buyers. However, I may have the added benifit of clearing some good buyers off the banned lsit.
I've nothing against resale buyers; if I was not willing to sell an item at the minimum bid then I would have put a higher minimum bid.

My list os sligtly longer. Then again, I have slightly less tolerance for idiocy then most, I also have been know to preemptively block people that I see as bad and I have been at this for a while now.

Here is mine:
I don't sell
RPG
stuff on eBay, and have sold a whole 1 item (second one has a single bidder right now), so I have little need for a "blocked buyer" list.
Oh, and I do find it almost interesting that there are some people blocked from buying who've I had deals with in the past. Maybe they are better sellers than buyers, or, I just got lucky.
Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

One bad experience and you get on the list. However, about a third to maybe half of these are a direct result of this forum.

Whew, I'm 'ok'
Question: the better-half sells and I buy, are we better off going our ways e-bay-wise to avoid possible mishaps leading to the above... or should we combine our 'efforts' for ratings?
Thanks for the input,
David

My opinion is "Don't sell on Ebay". But if you wish to do so I would lean toward having one account for selling and one account for buying. I see advantages for having two accounts. For instance, the buyer account would be guaranteed 100% positive feedback. I see no drawback to having two accounts as husband and wife.
Besides, since the
DSR
is the only thing that REALLY counts now, and the fact that when you are a buyer the
DSR
is not affected, having combined accounts doesn't do you any good as far as racking up a meaningful history.

I would rather not give specifics on why, but I did take the time to look in my records and figure it out. Basically, several years back, I listed items in terms of "good but used, no mold, no smell, no pet hair" and (for example) "100% complete according to the parts list on the back of the box".
Both simrioni and crazyegor received more than one partial refunds due to condition issues that I hadn't noticed or did not consider issues. If I were to sell on Ebay today (and I'm not; yeah I'm bitter with Ebay) I would probably not make such rookie mistakes thanks to the education I've had at Acaeum. However, at the time, I was simply not capable of grading to their standars due to a lack of knowledge on my part.
In short, I blocked them in order to protect myself (and them) from any further issues due to our obvious differences in grading critera and knowledge base. I simply wasn't up to their professional standards.
