I'm unlikely to join in at GenCon, given how tight my scheduling usually is, but listening to all the talk is getting me all fired up for summer conventioning.

Who all is going to be at Lake Geneva this year and who's running games?

Last year I got to play I12 with Frank, Circus Maximus with Tim, spotted Grodog (even if he still doesn't have the slightest idea who I am  :)).
(Don't think I encountered Tom, although I've played at his table at other conventions, somewhere, sometime.)

I was going to start this topic this morning, but I started mowing my lawn!

Is anyone from the DFW area going to Lake Geneva? My car has 100K miles, but I am willing to take one or two people.  Anybody who wants to leave his car at my house can do so.  Please PM me so we can iron out details.  You plan, I drive.  :)

I will be there; I will be running a game.  Maybe two.  But definitely one.

Less than 2 months - doesn't anyone have any events/days they can tantalize with?

http://www.trolllord.com/newsite/events ... edule.html

Is this schedule last year's, or just a few months old (it's clearly not very up to date, for at least 1 obvious reason).

Oh, yeah?  What happened with that?   :)

They claim on the boards the schedule has been updated, but I've refreshed, gone back to the original links, everything, and I still see the old.

I'm planning to attend this year - my first LGGC.  I've emailed TLG about running a session of 1st Edition AD&D.  I've offered to run The Mud Sorcerers Tomb from Dungeon #37.  Time/date is to be determined.  Probably bring some other addys too, just in case.

Depending on how the schedule shapes up, I'm considering running a Dungeon or DCC adventure.

Wonder if I'll get stoned to death if I use 2E?

I'll probably only be there Saturday, though.  (Even that's no sure thing)

Nah. However, 1e & 2e are both ancient; a lot of players aren't conversant with either one any more.
I'm accustomed to coaching players through the fine points of 1e; you'd be well-advised to be prepared for the same for 2e.

Lots of C&C players at LGGC, tho.
But not many 3/3.5 folks.

Then we must teach them what is good in the Force - they will learn the ways of the ancient lore!  8)

I tried desperately to convince the wife to go to LGGC, even going so far as to bribe her with tales of Frank M's baked goods...sadly, no dice.

Pun intended.  (C'mon, Gary would have loved that one!)

I think it highly unlikely that Mr. Kuntz will attend.

When did Vikings ever attack Normans? I'm not saying it didn't happen, I just can't think of any incidents.

I'd like to see those rules, I followed the evolution of this game for a while. Is he known as kaskoid here?
