I've had two issues recently with eBay and PayPal integration screw-ups.

1.  Out of the blue, my shipping address had changed from my home address in KS to my old work address in CA.  Two packages were shipped to my work address, and my office re-shipped them to me.  Not a big deal, but rather annoying (good thing I'm friends with the mail guy...)

2.  Out of the blue, eBay decides that my Paypal account isn't linked to my eBay account.  And I lose a killer bid on a wonderful item I've been seeking since about 1992 (not "Treasure of the Dragon Queen" though, so I suppose I should be grateful for that ;) ).  I'm pissed off, and they're going to hear about it.

Anyone else seen similar problems in the past two-ish weeks?

I had a little bit of trouble with Paypal a couple of weeks ago. I would access my account and click on Add Funds, but instead it kept bringing me to Add New Back Account or Credit Card. Not that big of a deal, but it takes 6-8 business days for me to transfer cash from my bank account to my Paypal account, so this tech problem makes me wait even longer.

BTW, another problem I had was my account was verified but it showed that it was unverified for months, this doesn't help when your buying stuff.

This happened to me after coming back from an eBay sabbatical a couple of years ago. Out of nowhere (or so it seemed), eBay thought I was back at my old address and old phone number in California ... it was very strange.

It's a pain, but I'd recommend that everyone check their eBay/PayPal account information every three or four months or so. It's worth it to make sure that payment is going to the right account, that bids aren't missed, etc.

Well, it's good to hear that I wouldn't have won anyway, even with my $278 bid.  I heard back from the buyer and he said:

Thanks for your question. The books that I am keeping from this lot are: Courting Madness (I actually bid [nearly double grodog's bid] on this lot, because of this item - the last time it was listed on eBay by itself, it sold for $700) and Dark Designs.

So, even without my Paypal mishap I was well-outbid!
