I'm pretty sure he's referring to the DCS's original DMG painting.

I would not usually put a game-related painting on the wall, but in this case, I would make an exception.  :o Other candidates: the Tramp PHB cover, some Erol Otus work.

That cover is great, but I'd sacrifice everyone of you to have the Trampier Idol cover of the PHB. Is the original still in a known location? I didn't see it in the museum.

Supposedly the Trampier PHB cover is out there... rumor was that Gary himself had it but that's not confirmed.  The Tramp PHB would be my first choice, with the DMG cover a close second.
