So there were 38 known to exist listed Here. I got tired of submitting to the link at the bottom and can't remember where I left off

Since there were 300 of each made PLUS DM copies PLUS designer copies, theoretically there should be about 317 Tamo and 316 Invers.

Not surprising if 80%+ were thrown out by 1983, tho.

It was just a play on the thought 300 is rare but to think that 1/6th have survived and surfaced. It would seem that their are good odds that another 50 or so would pop up eventually. Don't know really not much of a mathematican but that seems a good survival rate at what is known so far.

I remember way back when, when we were discussing whether a 10% survival rate was even likely for the holy trinity, much less pushing 15% or so. Given that the LT and GT were both labelled as special editions, some folks surely stocked up on them (even if perhaps they were mostly within TSR??).
