I have 2 copies from different sources in which the S3 cover is 2nd+ but the booklets inside do not conform to either the 2nd or 3rd print. The module books have a TSR face logo but the illustration books are wizard logos. The illustrations inside conform to the 3rd print - Erol Otus #41 and #45.
Two things here:
1) Does anyone have a 2nd print with both books having wizard logos and the face logo cover? The illustration info is needed on the Acaeum page. Are they the same as the 1st print or 3rd print?
Could just be a Frankenstien. But it is worth some investigating. I always seem to have an extra one or two lying around from large lot purchases. I will put them on my need to research list.
I am still tracking B3s with the same sort of logo combination.
Also, there is that I6 second print still floating around.
I wonder if we can't create a permanent thread for ongoing research...I don't think the valuation board thread would work as it is limited to valuation research...
2) Does anyone else have the same book situation as me - Face logo module and wizard logo illustration?
