I posted this at DF also.

Found this little gem in the CBC digital archives. Games, board, role playing and electronic are all being reviewed back in 1981. D&D seemed the most liked. :)

I forgot how expensive that Mattel D&D electronic game was. $55 at that time was a lot of money to drop on any game, especially when you're in elementary school! Which is why I didn't get it at that time. I think the most expensive game I had bought around then was Dark Tower and that was far superior to the Mattel D&D thing

Evem back then that Mattel game sucked.

I have a working copy, but have never really played a game because the whole concept of it is terrible. Nice graphic design though.

I enjoyed how Harry Brown was very enthused to talk about the D&D game. Made me happy.
