Notice the old logo was "TSR Hobbies" to compare and contrast with. Jim reduced the logo proposals and also reversed the blacks and whites as Darlene mentioned so that the proposals could be viewed in context to see if they retained their clarity.

I'm thinking the more action-oriented FR one above is why it went so high? It looked really nice.

faro wrote in Roslof auction October 2015:(Albeit IMO, the unpublished Monster Cards didn't actually look quite "finished" in terms of detail/aesthetics, under quarter price relative to the last published Roslof artwork from that series probably makes up for that).

Even though they weren't published, I think these were a great deal for a painting by Jim. Especially the gold dragon
