Just saw this on Bruce Heard's twitter account. Maybe of interest to someone here.

Welcome to the first issue of Threshold Magazine!  . . .an amazing 180-page piece of extravaganza from undying fans of Mystara.  It is perhaps poetic justice that the first issue focuses on all things Karameikos.  Congrats to the team!

Thanks for the link, this is a very nice (and long) read!  Although I no longer play the B/X series/system, it maintains a special place in my heart.

Excellent magazine.  I'm really impressed with the quality of "old school" products.

I never played Mystara despite a keen interest in the BEMCI rules sets.
My players were devoted to 1E, and, curiously enough, I never had an official world that I had designated for the campaigns.  I guess we played in Greyhawk, since that was the default setting for G-series, A-series, etc, but I kinda regret not having a "world" back in the day.
