Yes, I knew that much. I am not much of an internet investigator - I just don't have the time - but a brief look at the sample pages triggered something...you know, that "I have seen this somewhere else before" sort of thing.

I've got all 3 volumes and I actually really enjoy them. Not complete enough for a hardcore collector, but more than sufficient for the average joe like me!
Yes, I agree with the sentiment that it is mostly a collection of stuff available in many places, but it is really nice having all that info collected and organized, and the books themselves are very high quality.

I also have all three (given to me as a gift).  I enjoyed looking through them a few times, but quickly realized that something wasn't quite right with them, then realized it looked a lot like c&p...

I have several 'identification' guides that I will look to occasionally - these aren't the ones I look through first.  There's not much new info for the active collector.

Oh well.
