For anyone who has a Verizon e-mail address ("yourname@verizon.net" or "yourname@verizononline.net"), please note that they have blocked The Acaeum's mailservers from sending to Verizon email addresses.  This means that A) no one from this site, including me, will be able to send you an e-mail, and B) automated forum messages, such as PM notifications or thread subscriptions, will also bounce.

Therefore, if you'd like to be able to receive such e-mails in the future, please change your e-mail address in your profile.

I have attempted on several occasions these past few weeks to get them to remove The Acaeum (216.246.52.75) from their blacklist, to no avail.  No reason is given, either, other than "you're sending spam" (we aren't).  *shrug*

Just tested it against your address: yes.  

Apparently it's been a problem for years.  They utilize an aggressive spam filtering engine that false-flags servers all the time, and they're not particularly interested in adjusting it.

A workaround for you: open a GMail account (or something similar).  Have it auto-forward all email to your Verizon account.  Then change your email address here to the GMail one.

Annoying, but you only have to set it up once and ignore it.

OK, I must be dense. How do I change my e-mail? It does not appear obvious from the control panel.
