Would it be possible, if someone would be so kind, to verify if Dragon #93 actually had a limited Greyhawk Pronunciation guide? I am getting mixed results via the googling route and was curious and I don't have a copy of #93.

There are of course many posts where I see people giving there opinion on how to pronounce various names and places but was just curious what the magazine had to say, if indeed it says anything.

Thanks!!

Yes, there is a pronunciation guide (though I don't think it is specifically Greyhawk) by Frank (Ex-TSR)

"You get more with a kind word and an excruciator than with just a kind word."

I find that I always prefer my own pronunciation over the real thing. Mostly because I was saying things wrong for years before someone said I was wrong.
Sort of like everyone calling a drow a dr-oh, where I had always said dr-ow (rhymes with cow).

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

That's the correct pronunciation for the female of the species.

True, but there are several Greyhawk terms in the guide, like Mordenkainen, Gygax, etc.

Awesome thanks for the clarification. Am I understanding correctly that Frank's guide is published or something he provided via a different outlet?

I think it is just the article in Dragon

"You get more with a kind word and an excruciator than with just a kind word."
