e-Bay member ID:    mockingbird416
Feedback is at 2, member since 2005.
I suspect this is someone's "anonymously screw someone over" ID on e-Bay and that he/she will have 1 or more OTHER e-Bay IDs to be used when they are not being a jerk.

The buyer listed above won an auction of mine on e-Bay a while ago and never paid.
I sent an invoice the day after the listing ended.
Sent a second invoice 3 days later, then a 3rd invoice a few days after.
Sent a final invoice 12 days after the listing ended.
In all I waited more than two weeks hoping buyer would respond.
Finally decided enough was enough and filed non-paying bidder complaint with e-Bay (Have no idea what happens or why it is worth doing).

Buyer Never has contacted me, so I have blocked this buyer and just relisted the item today.
THIS person is why I find it VERY tough to trust low feedback bidders on e-Bay and is also one reason (there are other reasons of course) that I would truly HATE to be a real big time seller on e-Bay.
This e-Bay member could hit my feedback with a negative and trash my DSRs too if he/she wanted to.... yet I have no recourse other than to move on and this e-Bay member could screw another seller over with no worries.

Sellers be warned...

I agree, though, that the likelihood of having to go through this kind of hassle increases when dealing with new or infrequent eBayers. IIRC, I have my preferences set to disallow buyers with zero or negative feedback. But, everyone has to start somewhere.

Plus ,Ebay has finally changed a few of their policies, one is that someone who has not paid you cannot leave feedback for you. Way, way overdue.

My blocked list has about 10 - 12 names on it, too. I hesitate to post it, though, since for the most part I haven't bothered to remember why I blocked them, so I couldn't guarantee with any given buyer that I didn't block them for what some might consider insufficient grounds. For instance, if a buyer leaves positive feedback for me with no critical comments, but I'm sure he has hit my DSRs, BLOCK/WIPE! Oh, and there's one Acaeum member on it, too, so I'd feel weird posting that .

I have something close to 15 e-Bay IDs blocked and I do not know if any of them are members.
All but a couple are proactive blocks, most having been added after being mentioned in these forums.
I also had a couple of Acaeum members blocked for some reason and took the blocks off after being asked why.
If I could not remember why, then obviously the reason was moot at that point..
I am fairly sure that some members here have me blocked and I have no idea why....

Similarly, I request that everyone block "prvteye". If you've ever bid against him, you know why. Annoying little sucker; I just snipe him nowadays to avoid the game of leap frog, but it seems like he's after every second auction I'm interested in   . No idea if he's an Acaeum member (if so, ), but I assume he's at least a lurker.

I'd feel weird about saying who, because I've already beaten that horse to death. And the reason why I blocked the person is bad buying experiences, which probably doesn't translate into bad selling experiences but why take the chance?

FWIW: (which may be nothing) Martin; I would have put you on that list ahead of ScketreWhisp.

From what I have seen he almost never bids on anything other than very high end, very rare items, or nearly unique items and almost always TSR, or small press Fantasy related rares like Pharoh and the older Pre Pubs, etc....
Aside from those, he will purchase large lots of newer products to give away/raffle/auction for the convention.

It happens to regular Ebay resellers (like myself) quite a bit.

The only recourse is to file a non paying bidder report on the buyer, they can become blocked if they have too many of these.
