First day of classes and boy did I get some bad news right after class. My families home caught on fire and I think parts of my collection are destroyed :-( My massive adv guild modules destroyed probably as well as some non tsr :-( I'll have to drive back home on a weekend and see what the damage are :-( Estimated damage of the fire on our home was 40K :-( I'm gonna rent a storage unit from now on and put my items in there. Much safer and save me the heartache hearing my stuff got destroyed :-(

Mike, I am very sorry to hear that. Hopefully the damage is not extensive.

Thx guys for the support. I'm at home right now assessing everything. Most of the items can be replaced with a lot of searching and $$$. I'll bounce back :-)

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss. It's one of my worst nightmares. If you do plan to use a storage closet, I'd advise putting all your items in large plastic tupperware-type tubs, and not in cardboard boxes. The tubs prevent vermin, and water from leaks or busted pipes.

Hi Will, thanks for the tip. I did make sure the storage unit doesn't leak and put some plastic bags on the ground. Currently I have my items all packed up in boxes. I will have to check out some plastic tubs, boxes, etc and see how much they run.
