Hi All,
in the 2-day break betweeen conventions, I thought I'd make a quick post.
What 30th anniversary items are there about?
I've found:
playing mat/tablecloth thing
the shop tournamnet kit (t-shirt, minis etc)
UK glass tankard (475 produced for the Wizards party at UK Gencon)
There must be others?
Cheers,
Malcolm

What I got:
Pins.
Plastic Cup
Bookbag
T-shirt
And I believe I saw a spiral notebook or some such, but they were out of them before I got in line.

Did they have printed versions of the 30th Anniversary adventures that were played during the game day? I didn't manage to make it out.

As far as the new 30th Anniversary book goes ... well, be prepared to read sideways.
It's a nice-looking book, and it's got some interesting product shots, but I'm really questioning the overall graphic-design decisions. The text for EVERY page is laid out at an angle ... that's right, EVERY page is purposefully crooked. Why, I don't know, but it must have seemed cool at the time. All I know is that my neck is sore ...
Overall, though, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. It IS a solid history of TSR/D&D, although there's about 50 too many essays from people I've never heard of.
(First post, BTW; I hope I'm doing it right)
