I found my own way to give eBay a thumb. Apparently, I owe them .44 cents from a listing I had a few weeks back, but, because the amount is lower than $1, I don't have to pay it... at least not yet. If I decide to sell something else and the listing fees go up, they'll take my money. So, maybe I'll just start opening up a lot of accounts, sell one thing, keeping the list fees under $1 and get them all for free.... heh. Yeah, right. I found it funny though.

I must say that I have never heard of many of the books on those lists, although the usual suspects appear such as Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Slaughterhouse Five, etc.

I did not notice the 2006 date stamp on that youtube video.

My area of Canada is not immune to this either. There is a church about one block from my house that up until just a few years ago used to have an annual book and record/cd/tape burning in their parking lot. They changed pastors and that practice stopped.

I've found lists are the way to go, they really help.  As you know JG I used to carry the 4-6 page print out lists, which aren't bad as you reallyonly have to enter the information once, then adjust from there. However this year I got a Palm Pilot and it makes things so much easier. I can download my lists from Word, although it's actually easier once the list is downloaded to adjust it on the Palm itself.  Also, the Palm allows you to take notes, and can double as a mp3 player when you are in the bookstores looking around!!!     Also, they fit in your pocket, and look far less fanboy geekish than whipping out a list and poring over it in the aisles of the bookstore.

I have the Tungsten, which is a good middle of the road Palm.  Probably a cheaper or older version would do you just as well.
