As with the First Quest cassette, note the international shipping comment (really shouldn't be too bad; International Standard Delivery | Royal Mail Group Ltd: frequent sellers in the UK should be awash with cheap postage to use on those packages, but many sadly aren't)

I picked up copies of SE/SP earlier this year. IIRC, they totaled around $80, and I think both were complete, but I'd have to check.

These two definitely look quite spiffy, better than what I have.

The winner did not snipe, so I think they just well overbid to ensure they would come out on top. They made 4 bids higher than the ultimate runner up. Good price for the seller, at least per our current valuations.

The current valuations seemed to be low even allowing for a discount of the usual shrink factor. I'd certainly not seen any decent condition unshrinked copy close to $800-900 recently.

Two to list here, anyhow, that I'd had to set aside last weekend as I'd been preempted by that auction start -- one in about the same condition as that just sold but shrinked which lays perfectly flat (not so common...) and another unshrinked with some wear from Steve Marsh.

I have never seen the mini-books in shrink before, doubt they were sold that way.

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

They were never sold in shrink, I bought them new off the shelf and only the basic, expert mini boxsets and the dragonlance sets were sold in shrink.  I know the seller (his store is an hour north of my house) and he shrinks everything to keep it in saleable shape.

No, not an 'employee party'.
But it IS a photo of what became a graphic ad.

Foreground L2R: Elise Gygax, Sharon (Mrs. Doug) Blume, Gail Gierhan, Barney Brugger
Doorway R: Mike Carr (maitre d), Pam Beck (later Mrs. John Danovich), Dave Dimery (helmet; also in other ads)

Background: (waiter unknown), seated suit: Kent Pilz {sic} (Marketing), Dr. Don Snow (Education Dept), Kathy Lynch

Still unknown: Waiter, & lady behind waiter (mostly hidden by champagne)
Waiter may have been the actual one, at the Chef's Corner restaurant in Williams Bay, WI (now defunct)
