I personally wouldn't pay this much, but in the recent past shrinkwrapped Basic and Expert sets (Moldvay) go between $50 to $70

FWIW I was in the same boat last weekend with a local pick up for one of these, I lost out to 2 other higher bidders, it sold for £11.49

UK seller posts worldwide (Has some exclusions listed).

Listed:

A couple of Miniatures both at less than $1...

All 7 issues of Strategic Review (Only less than 14 hours left).

ALL of them are still under $10 (USD).

First 25 Issues of Dragon Magazine. (almost 5 days left) with only one at $30 the rest MUCH less and most started at just 0.99 (USD).

All of the listings I viewed looked near mint.

The Dragon One (currently just $30 USD) is especially tasty looking with one lightly rusty staple and sellers name on inside front cover (Ink).

Perhaps seller is a member... looks familiar...

I always enjoy the condition descriptions: Near Mint except it has spine crease, bent corner, minor shelf wear, etc.

For a metal Dragon Miniature I would hit $4 BINs all day long.
