If your saying that I'm "pretty" those are fighting words.

Yeesh...now I know why you want me to come back so badly next year!  8O   I didnt really put two and two together until I remembered your "special power" you kept using in that Vampire: The Masquerade LARP.  I went through my V:TM rulebook and the Brujah don't have a "Bear Hug" discipline.

You sicko perv.

i tell you - it was soooo convenient that Mike and John had a hotal room in the SAME hotel as all the LARP stuff that was going on....coincidence? i think not :)

also of note was the amount of times they "went back to the hotel room to take stuff back too" 15 min there and back and gone for an hour+ ..... possibly LARP calling? i think so dont you :D

John always wanted to go use the cash till by the LARP thing as well...

i tell you - i put it that they are secret LARP enthusiasts :)

I'll chop off my own head with a dull axe before I ever LARP.

Ok I admit it, I was slipping off to my room and slapping on makeup to roleplay "Cromar the Vampire Lord" at the hotel LARP.  It's not surprising King wouldn't fess up as he often roleplayed my lackey Egor the Disgusting, who crawled round on all fours and took snacks from LARPers hands as they play acted.

Man, I hate to be a party poop, but those LARPers are some out there people..... 8O

The axe is dull?  Good start.  Good start.  Don't want to be accidentally hurting any of your fellow players when you go into your barbarian rage.

Wouldn't such an action constitute LARPing in & of itself?

It's been done in The Princess Bride.  A Giant Shrew is undoubtedly an R.O.U.S.

It's Igor you putz.

No...there are supposed to be no violent physical acts in a LARP...even if said act is against one's self.

See above post.  Besides it's a Vampire LARP and I play a Malkavian spy.  And I never "rage".  Only those of the pathetic Gangrel clan "rage".  :?

I'm glad to see that you picked up on that. On one of my first shifts I auctioned of a shrink-wrapped copy of AH's History of the World for about half of what I would have been willing to pay for it; it got on my table without my realizing it was there or I would have had Frank do it.

I was under strict orders this year to go faster and chat less. I think I have now figured out a middle-ground; next year I promise to be more entertaining. I really love to auction off old boardgames and old wargames--my strong suit. I was really disappointed to see so few figures for the auction this year. I fear miniatures are on the decline.

As always, a great pleasure seeing so many of you f-t-f. My thanks to whichever burntwire brother picked up my lunch tab at Claddagh. I will freely admit to being a meal whore--food and beer for stories. Next time, give me a seat at the big table and I can bore more of you at one time...lol.

True miniatures, like the Ral Partha, Grenadier, and and others... yep. Dying slowly. Plastic is where its at. And Otherworld. Those kick so much ass I wish I could buy more, and I don't even use miniatures.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

Great line from a great movie. Thanks for the laugh.
