yeah i noticed that all the discussions on that post had been deleted. i have left and rejoined that group a couple of times.

IMO and my opinion only I feel like several of the items on there are over-priced.

For some reason there are folks out there on the internetz who are very anti-acaeum for some reason.

anyways with that being said I enjoy reading discussions about fakes, very informative.

Ambulance stolen and chased through multiple cities | KVUE.com
"An Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services ambulance was stolen from University Medical Center Brackenrdige in Austin Saturday morning and chased through multiple cities before being stopped near Killeen..."

Sounds like it would make a great movie. Who's buying the rights to the involved parties' stories? I'm envisioning a soundtrack with lots of banjos. Perhaps a scene with the ambulance crashing into a Walmart, & being chased by police cars through the aisles. Plus the incident ends near a military base, so there will need to be a scene of the ambulance crossing a live fire zone & a general who pops his head out of a tank & drops the cigar from his mouth in astonishment to see such a sight. You know, stuff for the whole family. Maybe the ambulance can be a self-driven ambulance that transforms into a robot & saves a child or something. Who's buying the toy rights?

See, now this just screams to me of asshattery. It's one thing to sell parts for an item because that's all you have. But, when you have complete items, splitting things up deliberately... UGH!!

I'm surprised the seller doesn't sell CDs separate from the cases.

That is a crappy thing to do. Makes no sense. Other than to squeeze extra money out of folks.

I went to see the movie Rogue One yesterday, and I liked it.  It's not the best Star Wars movie, but it's worthy of the cannon.  It's basically Star Wars 3.5, but takes several liberties with formula.  There is no scrolling text at the beginning, for example.  The music is not by John Williams.

Most of the personalities are completely new.  Darth Vader makes an appearance and what an appearance.  His Sith powers are on full display, lethal and glorious.  And there are a couple of CGI characters who make an appearance.  Some people are freaking out over their inclusion, but I liked it.  The new personalities were fleshed out well and there was the right amount of humor included, although it's mainly one character with the funny lines.  The last third of the movie is a war movie, which I especially liked.  One of my friends said it was Saving Private Ryan combined with Star Wars, but that doesn't quite capture my sentiments.

I did not see the movie in IMAX.  There is no bonus scene after the credits.  Don't wait until it comes out on blue ray or HBO.  8)

I've spent decades bringing information to buyers at GenCon, and this (actively working to keeping buyers ignorant) is the antithesis of that.
Why should I take the time to volunteer info when asked -- just to have the sole owner (aka moderator) target it for deletion?

So as an aside, I quit the FB group entirely, due to mismanagement.
That's not the main point tho; it's his ban on links to Acaeum Research & other Facts (as first posted).

Always wondered when I tried to get acess and mentioned Acaeum that it went into the trash on the FB group side. This provides the nail in the coffin. Glad that it went in the trash.

I am looking forward to a Star Wars movie in which a DEATH STAR fails to explode:
So far we have had:
#4 Great movie, Exploding Death Star
#5 Great Movie, NO Exploding Death Star
#6 Horrible Movie, Exploding Death Star
#7 Okay Movie, Exploding Death Star
#'s 1 through 3 simply don't count, they are so bad.

The thing I am most looking forward to is the inclusion of Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One. To me, he is the believable face of the bureaucratic evil Empire. The gravitas of Peter Cushing gives me a willing suspension of disbelief that lets me enjoy the rest of the Star Wars universe hokum.

Movies, yes. Canon, no. I must regard Princess Leia's 1978 Saturday Night Live appearance to be the original & thus definitive incarnation of the gold metallic bikini. Which had no exploding Death Star, yet was demonstrably great. Jedi was an imitation, so IT NEVER REALLY HAPPENED.

Plus, we already know the backstory of Grand Moff Tarkin. He spent his earlier days pursuing Count Dooko on a planet similar to but not entirely like Earth before becoming corrupted by the Dark Side.

Seriously!!!

There should have been a bonus scene for Star Wars Episode IV... Would have been way cool...

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Given the penchant in Marvel films to have bonus scenes, we definitely waited through the end to see if there was one.  Showing the original trailer for Star Wars would have been a nice touch, I agree :D

Unfortunate news, possibly impacting the future casting of the franchise:

"2:46 PM PT -- We're told when the plane landed paramedics worked on Carrie for 15 minutes with CPR before they were able to get a pulse. She's currently at UCLA Medical Center on a ventilator."

Probably only when its over, and hands the relay baton to 2017....  At times, I don´t want to see what the future holds.

She died today. RIP Carrie Fisher. Alas, after reading how bad it apparently was with her heart attack, this, sadly, comes as no surprise.
