I find that Hobby Lobby has good prices on frames and pre-cut matting, if you're interested in doing your own framing. They have frequent sales on their frames, too. I usually pick up several when they're on sale so that I'll have them around for photo prints and so on.

A middle ground solution is that many places like Aaron Brothers sell both ready made mats and frames. Depending on the size of the print and if it is standard or not, you can very likely purchase your own higher quality mat and a matching frame to go with it for less than $80 pretty easily. Having about the same effort done by the folks across the counter at the same store will cost you double for maybe 20% better results at best. I'd shop around a little, you'd be suprised how nice you can mat and frame a print on your own with ready made pieces. It's better than Target/Walmart options and cheaper than the custom route.

The time has come for the EO Committee to collect payment!

Everyone on the list needs to now pay for your print.  I am requesting you Paypal your money to me at my e-mail address which is (e-mail addy removed).  All payments need to be made by Paypal in USD.  No cash, checks or money orders.  Please send in your payment by March 5th at the latest.  The sooner, the better.

USA:
Print cost per member: $78.57 USD
Priority mail (with delivery confirmation and insurance): $9.25 USD
PayPal fees: $2.93
Total:  $90.75 USD

Canada:
Print cost per member:  $78.57 USD
Priority mail (with insurance): $24.50 USD
PayPal fees: $4.50
Total:  $107.57 USD

Overseas:
Print cost per member: $78.57 USD
Priority mail (with insurance): $32.50 USD
PayPal fees: $4.82
Total:  $115.89 USD

Mike/NTRPG CON  Pick Up:
Print cost per member = $78.57 USD
Protective Tube: $1.00 USD
PayPal fees: $2.69
Total: $82.26 USD

Shipping includes a sturdy tube, $100.00 insurance, Priority postage and a Paypal fee compensation.  Domestic shipping also includes Delivery Confirmation.  Priority Mail gives your print a better chance to arrive undamaged. There will be no combined shipments.  All shipping will be done by Badmike.

The print cost includes a payment to the printer, payment to the artist, a payment to a professional shipper who will ship the prints to Badmike, funds to create a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist, and a Paypal compensation fee.  We also added a $2.00 per person fee to cover unexpected expenses or problems.  All left-over funds will go to the Acaeum.  A complete budget breakdown will be revealed later.

Please note that each print can be slightly different from other prints.  Our contract states, "Artist understands that the nature of the currently used printing process may result in slight variations in color in each print. Additionally, there may be variations in paper stock. None of these variations shall be considered alterations of the work."  Erol's signature and numbering will even be slightly different on each print.  This means that printing or paper "imperfections" to your eyes do not decrease the value of the art.  Also understand that while Badmike is an outstanding shipper, there is no guarantee your print won't suffer shipping damage either.

Furthermore, insurance covers your cost and our butts and is required.  It does not cover replacing your print.  We are doing all we can to deliver what you want, but there are no guarantees in life or with this print.  At least you shouldn't lose much money.

Your Limited Edition print and Certificate of Authenticity should arrive in about a month to six weeks if everything goes as expected.  We'll keep you updated on our progress.

The EO Committee consists of grodog, PaulKM, Badmike and benjoshua.   We will not reveal the name of the printing company until after all prints are completed.  We request no private messages.  Any questions or concerns should be addressed on this thread.

This is an exciting day!  :)

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

Make sure your PayPal payment notice (the "message" section when you fill out the form) includes your Acaeum username -- it may not be otherwise obvious.

benjoshua,

Payment sent.  However, I did not heed Foul's message (forgot).  My paypal id is mpb5 so I'm hoping that will help.  Sorry for the confusion.  Let me know if I need to do anything else.

Guys;

What this means is if you live near me and want to pick it up, or you will be at NTRPG Con this year and want to save a little shipping, only pay the above amount.....this covers your protective tube and the paypal fees, but no shipping. If you are going to be at NTRPG Con and you don't want to pick it up there, or you don't want to wait that long, then you can go ahead and pay the full amount with shipping, it is your choice. Just let me know to hold it for you, and Chris will also provide me with a list of those who did not pay for shipping and want to pick up personally.

FYI I would recommend picking these up personally....if for no other reason than you are eliminating any kind of shipping mishap (as rare as they may be, and they are very rare).  As soon as I hand this tube to you, however, it's your baby....so if you don't want to take a chance it will be lost somewhere between NTRPG Con and your house, then pay for shipping. It is entirely your decision, my friends. Thanks!

Mike B.

Is it an easy thing to ship a couple prints together?  I know a couple of us wouldn't mind saving a bit on shipping by combining 2 or 3 prints in the same package.

We decided against this....it would require more individual shipping calculations and would rely on a third party to complete the commission. We felt better doing it this way.
