We saw the new non-Harry Harry Potter film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" yesterday and enjoyed it. No additional scenes after the credits

The previous weekend we also saw Dr. Strange, and it had two additional scenes in the credits.

Oof, I lost track of the Doc movie. When I ditched off all my comics months back I kept all the Strange Tales/Dr. Stranges.
He and Dr. Fate should go at it. Fate would rip him a new one, I'm guessing.

Thanksgiving is the annual tradition of how people used to communicate before the internet. It's a time to be thankful for friends, family, food, and first edition. It's also a time to be thankful for small things, like your crazy relatives who live far away. May the effects of tryptophan spare you from hearing conversations about the effects of tryptophan or the election. I am also grateful I shot my first turkey this Thanksgiving, but it scared the crap out of everyone in the frozen foods section. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has to clean the kitchen and wash the dishes. May you all eat enough to feed a third-world family for a month. Also, here's wishing you don't have to call the plumber tomorrow. As you can tell, I'm more of a ham than a turkey. :pig:

I've been meaning to post this for a while now. This was the article that got me interested in D&D. I'd never even heard of it before this article in Games magazine. My parents, bless their hearts, didn't have time to really interact with me as a kid (long story) so they got me a subscription to Games Magazine knowing it would challenge my brain. Please excuse the quality, the only way I had as a kid to laminate something was to use clear contact paper and over time it has made the page kind of translucent.

Pulled it out again... It's from Games Magazine - September/October 1979.

Yes, there was a "Games TM" magazine from around the same time period. I tried searching eBay last night, found a LOT of Games magazines for sale, but could not find that particular issue. If you do a Google Images search, you can see the cover.

I was referring to the porn mag, but yes, lots of periodicals with that name.

The Facebook RPG Auctions group removes unwanted clutter: Acaeum links and other historical product info.

This policy was implemented in the middle of an auction for Gary's "Victorious German Arms" (1972), which included a link (now deleted) to Acaeum photos and discussion.
(This item IS super-rare, and if you're interested, gallop on over there with an advantage; others don't have Acaeum-level knowledge of the item.)

Yeah, Chris has done that in the past, and in this case in particular it seems particularly unwarranted since folks were initially asking about whether the item might be a fake, so it all seemed well-intended and not cluttered. Definitely irked :-/

I've spent decades bringing information to buyers at GenCon, and this (actively working to keeping buyers ignorant) is the antithesis of that.
Why should I take the time to volunteer info when asked -- just to have the sole owner (aka moderator) target it for deletion?

So as an aside, I quit the FB group entirely, due to mismanagement.
That's not the main point tho; it's his ban on links to Acaeum Research & other Facts (as first posted).
