Yep, I had bid on it for a while, then it got above what I was willing to pay, not saying it is not worth it though.

There must be a lot of copies of The Rogues Gallery floating about. This is one of the coolest of the old school publications.

It sells for way less than it seemingly should go for.

Yeah, it does seem to be hanging tough. I was just giving Gnat a hard time since I think he scored several of these on the cheap.

PDFs (legal or otherwise) seem to have no effect on the core value, and the steady rise of the core value of a product. They do however seem to smooth out the fluctuations in the percieved value of a product, almost as if because there is a PDF, people will settle for that until one comes along at the given price, and not clammor to grab one at any cost because they don't crop up so often.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Just because there is a potential for the seller to make more profit off of an item than another is offering doesn't mean that the person making the offer is unscrupulous.

if you make an offer to someone and they accept, i seriously dont see what the problem is. if the seller doesnt know an items value, thats not my problem. if they come back and say HA now i know, then fine, we re-deal things.

same the other way around, if i sell something and dont know its value, then thats also my fault too for not checking up on it.

i dont know why folk get uptight about it.

and yes as DB says, if someone LIES about its value in trying to buy, then yes, i dont like that also.

Didn't one sell for $135 +/- (80 pounds) fom the UK a short time ago?

It was listed with 80 pounds as the starting price and (IIRC) there was a single bidder and that one was not made until nearly the end of the listing.

I saved the listing for a while, but recently deleted it.

I think it was listed on these pages at the time too.

Only reason I was watching it was to see if the value was going up.
